Daniel Luke Randolph (1946 -) is an American artist whose inspiration was “The Art Spirit” about which he is passionate. His art is fun and is an expression of the beauty found in him and around him. He counts color as most important in his work with design and form expressed with the female figure as the subject. The tools of paint and brush share with his use of marble mixed media in his sculptures. With his art, he strives to find the art spirit that moves all of you.
After 65 years being an artist, he is currently based in New Mexico. Over the years, he's had many achievements starting with a “Golden Key” award from Hallmark at age 12. He had one of his paintings purchased and hung in the White House. He was commissioned by Pier One Imports to do a series of travel posters and they were distributed at over 500 cities in the United States. PBS also did a documentary of the artist’s life. Besides owning and managing art galleries, he has appeared on TV talk shows.
He is a two-time recipient of the Purple Heart, serving in Vietnam in the U.S. Marine Corps.
